Our Corrections Policy
When a factual error is identified in any article published on Your Say Ontario — whether reported by a reader, a subject of the article, or discovered by our editorial team — we investigate promptly and correct the record. We believe transparency about mistakes is fundamental to the trust our readers place in us.
Upon confirming an error, we:
- Correct the article immediately at the point of error
- Add a clearly labeled correction notice at the top of the affected article, noting what changed and on what date
- Log the correction publicly on this page
- Notify the original author and, where relevant, any named expert reviewer
We do not silently edit published articles. Every change to a published fact is logged here.
Report an Error

- The specific claim you believe to be inaccurate
- The source or evidence you are relying on
We respond to all correction requests within 48 hours on business days. If after investigation we determine the original content is accurate, we will explain our reasoning in our reply.
